Boiler Upgrades

 

Benefits of a new boiler

• Improve the efficiency of your boiler.
• An energy efficient boiler can save you up to €200 a year, as boilers become older they become less and less efficient.

• More accurate control over the temperature of your home.

• Modern boiler can save space in home.
• New boiler are quite considerable quieter than old boilers this is partly due to wear and tear on the boiler.
• As boiler become older they can become prone to having breakdowns and repairs.
• Reduce your environmental impact.

NB: There are no grants available for boiler upgrades. (Only Heating controls).

 

 

Important: New Building Regulations (Part L) effective for External and Internal wall insulation works from 1 Nov. 2019

These changes will impact External or Internal Wall Insulation.  In addition to these upgrades, you must achieve a B2 rating or ensure that you attic insulation and heating system comply with he new Building Regulations.  Otherwise SEAI will be unable to process the wall insulation grant.
